    Please be advised: a paving company is reportedly approaching residents near County Road 2 (Daniel Street) in Town of Arnprior, claiming to be connected to local roadwork.

    The subgrade works are now complete and insulation is nearing completion. The sand under each piece of styrofoam insulation must be levelled carefully by hand with elevations checked constantly.

  • Ontario Investing $1 Million to Support Nick Smith Centre Arena Revitalization Project

    ARNPRIOR, ON – The Province of Ontario today announced the investment of
    $1 million to support the Nick Smith Centre Arena Revitalization Project through the Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund (CSRIF). Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP Billy Denault was on hand to make the announcement at the Nick Smith Centre as work continues on the $7-million project.

    Glenn Arthur Arena: The concrete apron (perimeter of the rink) and the rink slab is currently being rebuilt. A two inch layer of sand has been rolled over a layer of compacted granular material and heat pipes have been placed as well as pressure tested.
