Museum Camps
Join the Museum’s imaginative Experimentation Station! Our summer camp fosters cooperation and creative problem-solving across History, Art, and Science indoors and outdoors all summer long. Full weekly theme descriptions will be available in May, but feel free to contact us for more information. We make films, build planets, measure slime, joust in giant cardboard castles, and break pirate codes!
Our programming runs from 8:30-3:30 June 29 to August 28 (Extended hours 7:45-4:30 available for an additional fee). Kids from 4 to 10 years of age are invited to sign up.

Weekly Themes and Dates:
Week 1(June 29/30 & July 2/3): The Great Sea Adventure
Week 2 (July 6 - 10): Crazy Creature Creation:
Get Ready to bring your wildest creations to life! Campers will design, build and imagine unique creatures using a mix of materials, creativity and hands-on making. From silly to strange to totally unexpected, each creation can help bring imagination into reality.
Week 3 (July 13 - 17): The Flavour Factory:
Get ready for a week full of mixing, baking, and tasting! Campers will explore the culinary world as we learn the art of food preparation. Each day will introduce new skills, fun activities, and tasty creations. Cooking week is all about trying new things, getting creative, and having fun in the kitchen!
Week 4 (July 20 - 24): The Chaos & Curiosity Lab
Test it. Break it. Prove it. This week is all about hands-on science exploration. Join us as we take crazy ideas through trial-and-error challenges and explore their effects. Because the best way to learn science is to try it yourself!
Week 5 (July 27 - 31): Builders, Boxes & Beyond:
Get ready to design, build and create with Cardboard. Campers will turn simple materials into large-scale models of cars, buildings, and more. From Challenges to creative builds, every day pushes ideas to new heights.
Week 6 (August 4 - 7): The Big Camp Quest:
Ready, Set, Race! Campers will team up to take on exciting challenges that test creativity, teamwork and strategy. From obstacle courses and clue hunts to creative missions and problem-solving adventures, campers will not only participate in challenges but help create and design some of their own. The race is on- do you have what it takes to make it to the finish line?
Week 7 (August 10 - 14): Wildbrush Wonders:
Get ready to turn nature into something extraordinary. Campers will design, create and experiment with art forms using the environment. Each day, we will explore the connection between nature and art in fun and creative ways. Get ready to see nature in a whole new way!
Week 8 (August 17 - 21): Motion Picture Makers:
Lights! Camera! Action! This week, the campers become the cast, crew and creators behind their very own film. Through storytelling, set design, and creative collaboration, campers will work to create a film to showcase at the end of the week. So get ready, the spotlight is waiting!
Week 9 (August 24 - 28): Invention convention:
Embark on a journey of creation and wonder! Where each camper gets the opportunity to become an inventor. This week, we will explore various materials and processes that make up everyday items, taking things apart, rebuilding them, and seeing what new creations we can come up with. Let’s create a place where ideas become inventions!

Sports Camp
Sports Camp is a one-week camp from July 20-24 where campers aged 6-12 will spend their day through various sporting activities. The camp takes place at St. John XXIII School and will utilize the school gym, school yard as well as Legion Park with the Sullivan Rink of Dreams. The camp runs 8:30am-3:30pm and each day will feature multiple counsellor led activities with one large sport.

Theatre Kids Camps
The status of the Theatre Kids Camp is still to be determined. Our wonderful instructors are expecting their first child this spring and have not determined their summer plans yet. Should the camp run - we will update this page.
Library Summer Programs

Counsellor in Training (CIT)
The Town of Arnprior is happy to continue the CIT program which provides those ages 11-13 the opportunity to be at summer camp in an elevated role, assisting the camp counsellors.
The CITs are a registrant of summer camp at a discounted rate of 50%. They are still the responsibility of our Camp Coordinators and Counsellors but put in a different environment than that of a camper. The CIT will assist the Camp Staff in preparing, leading, and organizing camp activities. In this role, they will learn valuable skills that will prepare them for life as a volunteer or staff including communication, problem solving, leadership, and more.
Register to be a CIT as early as March 2.
