Skate Park

To help ensure your safety and to maintain our skate park we ask that you
adhere to the following rules:

1. Be respectful and courteous to users and park neighbours.
2. This skate park is not supervised. Use at your own risk. The Town of Arnprior
   is not liable for any injuries. It is recommended that all users wear protective
   equipment (helmet, knee, elbow and wrist protection).
3. Do not ride when the park is wet or during inclement weather.
4. Hours of use are from 7:00 a.m. until dusk. Park use after dark is not
   permitted.
5. Parents / guardians must directly supervise their children (12 and under)
6. The following is prohibited in the skate park:
   
   • Motorized scooters, bikes or other vehicles
   • Outside equipment (ramps, jumps, obstacles)
   • Alcohol, Smoking, Vaping
   • Glass or Breakable Objects
   • Littering
   • Pets
   • Spray Paint / Graffiti
   • Gum
7. All other parks rules and municipal by-laws apply

Help keep our skate park clean and safe!

• This is a community space. All people, all abilities, are welcome here.
• It's a place of mutual respect. Look out for each other. Respect the neighbours and the space around the park.
• Clean up after yourself. Pack out what you bring in.
• When you arrive, take a minute before you drop in. Watch the flow, then join in.
• One rider at a time on a line. Wait your turn, and give a quick shout like "dropping in!" before you go.
• If there are newer skaters around, give them space and a little grace. Everyone was a beginner once.
• Helmets and pads are encouraged, especially if you're still learning.
• And stay aware of your surroundings, some of the worst accidents are collisions.

We're all responsible for this amazing community space and maintaining these standards. Be safe, have fun and enjoy this incredible space!
