Get ready for spooky season! Between Halloween and other programs, there’s a busy month ahead!
Youth Club
Need more fun after school? Our afterschool programs have you covered with walking group options where recreation staff can pick up children from participating schools and accompany them to their programs.
- Monday: Riverstone Church from 2:30- 5:00pm
- Tuesday: SALC from 2:30- 5:00pm
- Wednesday: Galilee Centre from 2:30- 5:00pm
- Thursday: Arnprior Museum from 2:30- 5:00pm
- Monthly Fridays: Steelheads and Strikes from 2:30- 5:00pm, followed by a Youth Night at the Nick Smith Centre from 6:00-8:00pm.
Also take part in the Youth Nights on October 16 and 23 as well as the Craft Night on October 20.

Older Adult Programs
Fall is in full swing, and October is packed with exciting programs! Come try a dance class, or discover a new skill through the art of flower arranging. We hope you'll join us for a wonderful month ahead!
October 10: Celebrate the season with us at our Thanksgiving Flower Arranging Workshop! Join Mel's Flowers from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Masonic Hall to create a beautiful seasonal arrangement to take home. All materials and step by step instruction are included, making it perfect for all skill levels.

Preschool Explorers
Preschool Explorers is a program for ages 2+ where parents can drop off their child for play-based learning and socialization. Operated out of the Nick Smith Centre with trained and certified staff, Preschool Explorers is a 2 hour program meant to support families before it's time to go to school. Aquatics
Aqua Conditioning - Join us Mondays & Wednesdays at 6:30 PM for our brand-new Aqua Conditioning class—a fun, high-energy, full-body workout designed to build strength, endurance, cardiovascular fitness, and muscle tone.

Swimming Lessons - There's still time to register for swimming lessons at the Nick Smith Centre! Whether your child is just getting comfortable in the water or working toward the next level, we still have spaces available in select classes.

Board Rooms Available for Rent

Project Update
Robert Simpson Park - Robert Simpson Park Phase 1A is well underway with the installation of infrastructure nearing completion. Drainage and water supply for the new splashpad are largely complete, subdrainage for the play areas is largely complete. Electrical infrastructure is in progress, with many light bases complete. The existing Hydro pole in front of the Lion's Pavillion will be removed and the ring pathway will be well lit. The event space within the ring will be the home of a future puddle rink. The new play structure, pathway and change hut will all be fully accessible via an asphalt path.
The project is on schedule, and we are looking forward to better accessibility to the brand-new play features. Learn more at www.arnprior.ca/refreshrsp
