We were excited to have both arenas open to the public limiting disruption to the on-ice season, however the mezzanine portion of the project is still ongoing with the opening of these new spaces expected closer to the end of March. With material delays for this aspect of the project now behind us, the Town is excited to see progress on this space in the new year as we eagerly look forward to unveiling these new spaces for the community.

The Town is pleased to announce a new municipal parking lot Downtown Arnprior! The Town has recently purchased 74 John Street North and the lot is being re-opened as a Downtown Municipal parking lot just in time for all your last minute holiday shopping. Please note that the parking is a gravel surface and parking is at your own risk. The Municipality is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or contents. There is no overnight winter parking.

As temperatures begin to drop, the waterways around Arnprior are starting to freeze. The Town urges all residents to exercise extreme caution when outdoors near rivers, lakes, ponds, and marsh areas during this early freeze period.
Although ice may look solid, early-season ice is highly unpredictable and often too thin and unstable to support people, pets, or vehicles.

Update December 5, 2025 7:00 pm: The watermain on Havey Street has now been repaired and water service has been restored to all properties. Residents within the immediately effected area are advised to run their cold water tap for at least two minutes or until the water runs clear to remove any air from their service lateral. The Town has been notified that residents have received calls from someone claiming to be collecting funds for the Fire Department. The Fire Department is not currently running any fundraising campaigns. If you receive a similar call, please do not provide them with any financial information.
