The Arnprior Fire Department will be flooding the outdoor rinks at Sergeant Howard Slater Park (Village Creek) and the Sullivan Rink of Dreams (Legion Park) beginning at 8:30pm this evening. Both rinks will be closed effective 8:30pm and are expected to re-open by Wednesday morning at 8:00am. We ask the public to remain off the ice surfaces during this period of time.
Work on the outdoor rink at Caruso Street Park will commence later this week.

At this time, Section 3 (Thursday) paper fibres and cardboard recycling collection is taking place as scheduled; however, collection efforts may be delayed due to the snow. Any schedule changes will be shared on the Town’s website, social media and the Arnprior App.

The Nick Smith Centre will reopen both its arenas January 25th after repairs to its refrigeration systems were completed ahead of schedule.
“Both ice surfaces remained intact and the repairs went smoothly which has helped significantly reduce our downtime,” said Graeme Ivory, Director of Recreation. “We are grateful to our partners at CIMCO for their extraordinary efforts and to recreation and public works staff for their swift action.”
