Take Notice that pursuant to Section 391 of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Arnprior intends to consider a by-law to adopt a proposed new User Fee and Charges By-Law for services provided by the municipality.
The staff report to explain the proposed by-law will be included on the January 26th, 2026 Council Agenda beginning at 6:30 PM, with the by-law being considered by Council at their Regular Meeting of February 9th, 2026 beginning at 6:30 PM.

Due to the weather, all swimming lessons scheduled for this evening, Thursday, January 15, are cancelled. The Nick Smith Centre remains open.
The Optimist Club events including the free swim at 7:30 PM are currently still running. Please monitor the Optimist Club of Arnprior's Facebook Page for any changes or cancellations.

Section 3 recycling collection from Wednesday, December 31st was delayed and collected today. If your recycling has not been collected please contact either Miller Waste by telephone at 1-855-752-3257 or by email at area3@millerwaste.ca or wastemgt@arnprior.ca . A reminder that the recycling Blue Box program is now managed by Miller Waste Systems. This change in service is occurring as Ontario fully transitions recycling to a producer responsibility system.
