Remembrance Day – November 11th, 2025

In recognition of Remembrance Day, the public is invited to join the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 174 at the Cenotaph located in front of Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital (350 John Street North, Arnprior, ON K7S 2P6) at 10:45 AM on Tuesday, November 11^th, 2025 for the Remembrance Day Ceremony.

Facility Closures

Please note that the Town Hall and the landfill will be closed on Tuesday, November 11^th, 2025 and re-open at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, November 12^th, 2025.

The Nick Smith Centre will remain open during regular operating hours on Tuesday, November 11^th, 2025 between 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM. However, the pool will be closed until 2:30 PM.

Service Changes

Recycling Collection

Recycling collection for Section One (Tuesday) will not be impacted by the holiday, with collection occurring on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025. For any collection-related questions, please contact TOPPS Environmental Solutions by telephone at (613) 257-1195 or by email at help@toppsenv.com.

Leaf and Yard Waste Collection

Leaf and Yard Waste Collection for Section Three will take place on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025.

Swimming Pool Schedule

The pool will be closed on Tuesday morning and it will open to the public at 2:30 PM.

Half lane/public swim at 2:30pm

Public Swim (Half Pool) at 7:30pm

Lane Swim (Half Pool) at 8:00pm

Swim Lessons will still run as scheduled beginning at 5:00pm
