PaddleFest

Dragon Boat Festival
Welcome teams from across Ontario and Quebec as they compete on the river in 400m courses. Whether you are paddling or spectating, we can’t wait to welcome you back to this annual event.
The Nick Smith Centre Pool will reopen on July 7 after it’s three week closure for annual repairs.
The beach at Robert Simpson Park is now guarded daily from 11:00am-6:00pm. Please respect signage and obey the instructions from lifeguards on duty.

Park Program is a new program for youth throughout the summer months in Arnprior. We invite youth to participate in free programming, both structured and unstructured. Supervision and equipment will be provided by program staff. The program runs three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. The location of the program varies per week to utilize the benefits of the parks in our community. Registration is required to participate. We hope that you come out to join us! Summer camps start tomorrow and there is limited space remaining in select weeks. Camp Wanna-Go is a summer day camp for children between the ages of 4 and 10 operating out of the Nick Smith Centre. Each week is packed with games and crafts to go along with the weekly theme. Themes include culinary weeks, sport weeks, adventures and more! Space is very limited so act fast to secure your spot today!
In June we celebrated the re-opening of Fairview Park which features Arnprior’s second splash pad, first parkour circuit as well as a swing set and preschool play structure. Make sure to drop in and check out the newest park as well as learn about other spaces in town by visiting Arnprior.ca/Parks
