Starting this week through the end of the month, park amenities will be closing as staff commence seasonal maintenance in preparation for cooler temperatures and the winter months ahead.
Washrooms at Robert Simpson Park and the McLean Park Ball Diamonds are now closed for the season.
Splash Pads at Robert Simpson Park and Fairview Park will close by the end of this week.
The Municipal Marina, including fuel and pump-out services, is now closed for the season. The boat launch will remain open until mid-November.
Waste Receptacles will be removed or reduced in various spaces throughout the month.
Picnic tables will be removed or reduced in various spaces throughout the month.
Swings will be removed towards the end of the month or early November.
Bases have been removed from all ball diamonds for the season.
The Skateboard Park will close in November.
Installation of the Outdoor Rink Boards in Sargeant Howard Slate Park (Village Creek) will commence in November.
Work on the Sullivan Rink of Dreams will commence when temperatures allow.
