November 8th is National Indigenous Veterans Day. The Town has received some calls from concerned residents regarding the Arnprior Chronicle Guides newspaper article titled "Petition would save Arnprior from ‘Monica Moneybags’". The Town would like to clarify that this is a fictional situation made up as part of a fundraiser for the Arnprior and District Food Bank where event participants track down clues which will lead them to a petition to “save the Town”.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 174 President Donna Bell presented Mayor Stack with the first poppy this morning to kick off the poppy campaign in Town. Poppies can now be purchased at a number of participating locations in Town.
