Public Notice - 2025 Budget Consultations

Annually, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Arnprior considers public feedback in the budget process. The 2025 public budget consultation meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 6:00 PM in Council Chambers with several community organizations making presentations to Council.
If you would like to present a budget request at the December 3rd meeting please submit a delegation form by November 21, 2025 here or contact the Clerks Office at 613-623-423.

Many factors affect ice thickness including type of water, location, the time of year and other environmental factors such as:
- Water depth and size of body of water.
- Currents, tides, and other moving water.
- Chemicals including salt.
- Fluctuations in water levels.
- Logs, rocks, and docks absorbing heat from the sun.
- Changing air temperature.

Town Launches Recruitment for Council Remuneration Ad Hoc Committee

The Town is now seeking applications for appointments to our Council Remuneration Ad Hoc Committee which aims to develop recommendations to Council with respect to salary, benefits, allowances, and any other direct/indirect compensation for elected officials for the new term of Council (2026-2030).
If you wish to play a role in future of our community and would like to have your name considered for appointment to the Ad Hoc Committee, please complete an online application.
