Service Disruption - Temporary Closure of Robert Simpson Park March 18, 2026

Robert Simpson Park will be closed on Wednesday, March 18 from 7am - 4pm to address damaged trees. The road and trails to the park will be closed which will also impact access to the parking lot during this time.

Service Disruption - Nick Smith Centre March 17, 2026

Due to power outage at the Nick Smith Centre all morning swims, shinny, and skates until noon have been cancelled. We will provide updates through out the day. The building remains open and our March Break Camp is still running.

Swimming Lessons Cancelled - January 15, 2026

Due to the weather, all swimming lessons scheduled for this evening, Thursday, January 15, are cancelled. The Nick Smith Centre remains open.

The Optimist Club events including the free swim at 7:30 PM are currently still running. Please monitor the Optimist Club of Arnprior's Facebook Page for any changes or cancellations.

Recycling Collection Update Jan 2026

Section 3 recycling collection from Wednesday, December 31st was delayed and collected today. If your recycling has not been collected please contact either Miller Waste by telephone at 1-855-752-3257 or by email at area3@millerwaste.ca or wastemgt@arnprior.ca . A reminder that the recycling Blue Box program is now managed by Miller Waste Systems. This change in service is occurring as Ontario fully transitions recycling to a producer responsibility system.
