Washrooms and Splash Pads open for the Season

Splash Pads and Public Washrooms Open this Weekend!

Splash Pads operate 8:00 am-9:00 pm daily.

Locations:

1. Robert Simpson Park Splash Pad will be open until the Refresh RSP Project begins in early June.

2. Art Dodds Park Splash Pad (behind the Nick Smith Centre) is open daily until the Fall.

Public Washrooms are open 8:00 am-9:00 pm daily

1. Robert Simpson Park (Note: Washrooms are not impacted by the Refresh RSP Project)

2. McLean Avenue Park (Ball Diamonds)

Service Disruption - Ball Diamond 3 Closed at Optimist Wayne Lavallee Park May 7 - May 10, 2026

Please note Optimist Wayne Lavallee Field (ball diamond #3 - 153 Maclean Avenue) will be closed for maintenance. The maintenance is scheduled from Thursday, May 7 (8am) to Sunday, May 10 (9pm).

Parks Update - April 24, 2026

Play Structures – all play structures are OPEN

Swings – all swings will be installed and operational by May 1

Gillies Trail (Waterfront Trail) – The trail remains CLOSED between Albert Street and Robert Simpson Park due to overland flooding. Please avoid the area and be cautious around all waterways.

Skate Park – the Skate Park is open daily from 7am-9:30pm at the Nick Smith Centre. Watch for more news coming on our new skate park coming this summer!
