In the Summer of 2021, the Town of Arnprior implemented a pilot project which saw three parking stall patios set-up in the Downtown. These patios utilized two on-street parking spaces each and allowed the downtown restaurants to set-up seating in the parking stall while safely protecting their diners and staff behind cement barricades installed on the street by the Town. November 8th is National Indigenous Veterans Day. More than 7,000 First Nations members served in the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War, and an unknown number of Inuit, Métis and other Indigenous people also participated. The Town has received some calls from concerned residents regarding the Arnprior Chronicle Guides newspaper article titled "Petition would save Arnprior from ‘Monica Moneybags’". The Town would like to clarify that this is a fictional situation made up as part of a fundraiser for the Arnprior and District Food Bank where event participants track down clues which will lead them to a petition to “save the Town”.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 174 President Donna Bell presented Mayor Stack with the first poppy this morning to kick off the poppy campaign in Town. Poppies can now be purchased at a number of participating locations in Town.

The Town of Arnprior is undergoing an update of its Community Improvement Plan (CIP). The Town has retained the services of WSP, a consulting firm, to assist on this exciting project.
