The Mayor and Council, on behalf of the residents and staff of the Town of Arnprior, wish to express our condolences to the Royal Family on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
We join the country in mourning the loss of The Queen.
In reverence, our flags will fly at half-mast until the end of the mourning period.

The Mayor, Council and Staff of the Town of Arnprior send condolences to the families of those lost and support for those affected by the senseless violence in the James Smith Cree First Nation and village of Weldon in Saskatchewan. As a show of support the Town will lower its flags Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Town has begun spraying for cosmetic weed control purposes in Town parks, green spaces and along sidewalks. The Town is committed to only using eco-friendly alternatives when cosmetic weed control is required.
The product being used to control weed growth on the Town’s sidewalks is a vinegar-based herbicide product called Munger Horticultural Vinegar Plus. The active ingredient is acetic acid (vinegar). This product is listed on the Ministry of the Environment’s List of Active Ingredients...
