As we enter the holiday season, the Town of Arnprior would like to remind local residents about facility closures and additional recreational opportunities over the coming weeks.

This schedule runs December 22, 2025 - January 4, 2026. The pool is closed Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1. For a description of swims and costs click here.

We have a number of Adult, Junior, Minor and Ringette Shinny times scheduled over the holiday. Click here to view the schedule and register. All memberships expire on December 31 each year, and anyone wishing to participate in shinny must renew their membership by completing the online waiver in January. |

| Annually, the Town of Arnprior encourages residents to light up their home or businesses and embrace the festive spirit. There are prizes for the top 3 winners and this year, you can vote!

December 21 & 22 - Cozy Holiday PA Day Camps
All camps are $45 day for residents and $67.50 per day for non-residents. Discounts apply for registering for both days of the Cozy Holiday PA Day Camps.

The Town of Arnprior is pleased to offer the Lending Hub equipment to residents of Renfrew County aged 18 and over. Featuring a selection of seasonal sports equipment, the Lending Hub offers something for everyone to encourage you to get outside and stay active.
Rentals are free for daily use and must be returned by 8:30pm on Monday-Friday and 7:30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

There are two outdoor rinks within the Town of Arnprior.
Sullivan Rink of Dreams - 100 Edey Street
Sergeant Howard Slater Park - 130 Desmond Trudeau Drive (Access via Desmond Trudeau Drive or McGregor Scobie Crescent)

Garbage and Recycling
- There are no changes to garbage collection, it will take place December 24 and 31 as scheduled.
- The landfill is closed December 25, 26 and January 1.
- Recycling Changes:
- Section 3 (Thursday) Paper Fibres and Cardboard Recycling Collection will take place Friday, December 26, 2025.
- Section 3 (Thursday) Plastic, Glass and Metal Recycling Collection will take place Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
