Long Weekend Parks Update

As the long weekend is upon us, we wanted to provide an update on our outdoor public spaces for your enjoyment this weekend.
Robert Simpson Park
- Public Washrooms will open for the season on Saturday, May 20 and are open daily from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- The splash pad at Robert Simpson Park is now fully operational for the season. The splash pad operates daily from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The Town of Arnprior Launches Innovative New Feedback Tool for Residents - Welcome to Zencity

The Town of Arnprior is excited to be the first municipality in Renfrew County to launch Zencity, a new way for residents to share their ideas and feedback online. The County of Renfrew has signed a three year agreement that will provide the Town with access to this new online platform making engagement more accessible to residents online. Skate Park Open for the Season

The Skate Park at the Nick Smith Centre is Now Open for the Season from 8 am - 10 pm daily. The Town of Arnprior recommends that users where all the appropriate safety equipment while enjoying the skate park. Please do your part to help keep our parks clean and safe.
Summer Events Sponsorship and Advertising Opportunities

The Town of Arnprior is very excited to offer a full slate of events in the summer of 2023. As always, our summer events calendar kicks off with Priorpalooza on June 3, followed by a 10-week Concerts in the Park series beginning June 11 and Sunday Market beginning June 4th. A new event, PaddleFest, debuts on June 17 at McLean Park.
Our annual Canada Day festivities will take place all across town on July 1 and our annual Dragon Boat Festival is set to return on July 15. We finish our summer...
No Ice is Safe

As the spring thaw continues, the ice on lakes, rivers, streams and ponds are getting thin. Please remember that no ice is safe.
The Town of Arnprior asks people to be mindful of the following:
- Ice is inherently dangerous at this time of year and is always unpredictable. Stay away from open bodies of water.
- Always supervise children playing outside who may wander or want to play near rivers, ponds, creeks or ditches etc. A child can drown in less than two inches of water.
