Watermain Breaks

 Update 8:45 on: The watermain on Third Ave at Laird St has now been repaired and water service is being restored to effected properties.  Residents within the immediately effected area are advised to run their cold water tap for at least two minutes or until the water runs clear to remove any air and/or discoloured water from their service lateral.  Thank you for your patience as we worked to restore service.

Town crews responded to two watermain breaks this morning near the intersections of Charles St and Isabella St as well as at Third Ave and Laird St.  Repairs are currently underway and expected to be complete this afternoon.  While repairs are occurring, residents and businesses in the area may experience reduced water pressure, temporary water loss and/or discoloured water.
