Trail Closure - Gillies Trail

The Town of Arnprior has closed a section of Gillies Trail (Waterfront Trail) between the Marina and the Boat Launch as water levels begin to reach that section of the trail. We ask the public to refrain from entering this area and ask that you exercise caution near any waterways in the coming days.

We can assure you that the Town of Arnprior is closely monitoring current conditions and remains in regular communication with watershed stakeholders and local emergency managers. For accurate and up-to-date information regarding water levels in our area, we encourage residents to refer to the forecast section of the Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board website. Your awareness and preparedness are important, and we thank you for staying informed.
