Town to Conduct Business Retention and Expansion Surveys

The Town has contracted Fotenn and Shore-Tanner & Associates to complete a Business Retention and Expansion (BR&E) Study with a focus on employment and tourism. The aim of the Study is to provide the Town with updated economic development data for growth and attraction efforts.

The Study will evaluate the Town’s current business economy and make recommendations for improvements that would allow the Town to continue to build a foundation for economic growth and sustainable development.  The Project will engage businesses and the public. This project is being made possible by funding from Ontario’s Rural Economic Development (RED) program.

Fotenn and Shore-Tanner & Associates will be reaching out to registered businesses in the coming month to complete a short survey to provide valuable information to assist the consultants in compiling their report. The Town encourages business owners complete a business registration form on the Town’s website at www.arnprior.ca/register to ensure you do not miss communication on this important study.
