Shinny Hockey and Ringette
Are you looking to play Shinny Hockey or Ringette? Make sure you complete our annual waiver.
Individuals seeking participation in Shinny Hockey or Shinny Ringette are required to enroll in a free Shinny Membership to complete an annual waiver. Two waivers have been established: one designated for individuals under the age of 18, which a legal guardian must complete, titled "Waiver and Release Form – Shinny (Born in 2009-2018)," and another tailored for adults aged 18 and above, termed "Waiver and Release Form - Shinny (Born in 2008 and before)"
This annual requirement requires approximately five minutes, and we strongly advise completing the waiver beforehand ensuring prompt access to the arena. Note that Nick Smith Centre employees are unable to complete waivers on behalf of participants due to the legal nature of the waiver.
Upon successful completion of the waiver, participants regain access to the online registration system for Shinny sessions, our quickest sign-up option. Alternatively, those opting for in-person registration at the front desk should anticipate a slight extension in processing time.
The waiver can be completed online here: https://townofarnprior.perfectmind.com/24502/Client/MembershipWidget/List?widgetId=af3ec2ac-c18f-4f91-b316-57961f698906

Robert Simpson Park Redevelopment Project
Robert Simpson Park is the crown jewel of Arnprior’s waterfront. This park is the hub for much of the Town’s major outdoor events and holds many fond memories of longtime residents and visitors. Starting November 10, the Town is asking for the public’s support on design elements on the future of Robert Simpson Park through our online engagement survey (November 10-23) and Public Open House (November 13).
