It’s the last month to become a Fan for Life! The Nick Smith Centre is one of the busiest buildings in Arnprior and has several sponsorship and advertising opportunities. If your business looking for exposure there are plenty of options from rink board advertisements to wall advertisements or something even more visible like sponsorship a scoreboard.
Whether you’re a business, a family that lives at the rink or someone that wants to leave their legacy, our Fan for Life seat sponsorship program is for you. Secure your spot by May 31.
Parks, Trails and Ball Diamonds
Sections of the Gilles Trail (Waterfront Trail) are closed due to overland flooding. We ask the public to refrain from entering these areas and ask that you exercise caution near any waterways in the coming days.
Swings have been installed in all parks with swing sets except for Fairview Park (still under construction) and Caruso Park (excessive ground water).
Work continues at the ball diamonds ahead of the upcoming season. They are expected to be open for the Victoria Day weekend.
Please check our website and social media accounts for updates on the status of trails, parks and sports fields.
Pitch-in Week and Earth Day Initiatives
Thanks for everyone that supported our community clean-up initiatives through Pitch-In Week and The Great Arnprior Trash Hunt. We are grateful to our sponsors at Home Hardware and Canadian Tire for supplying our Pitch-In Kits and to the volunteers and Environmental Advisory Committee members responsible for putting together The Great Arnprior Trash Hunt and the sponsors that supported their event and the Arnprior Fire Department for providing the BBQ lunch!
