Priorpalooza
An annual music festival hosted at Robert Simpson Park in Arnprior that showcases local talents from across Eastern Ontario. This family-friendly event provides something for all ages throughout the day. This free event is made possible by local sponsors and community support.
Concerts in the Park
Annual summer series showcasing local talent on Robert Simpson Park's Gazebo Stage. Free performances run from 2:00pm-4:00pm for ten Sundays
Movie in the Park
Free movie showings in parks across Arnprior. All shows are rated G and start immediately after sun set.
School's Out Beach Party
This event features entertainment on the gazebo, a slip n slide, bouncy house and a guarded beach for lots of fun after the last day of school.
The Nick Smith Centre Pool will be closed for annual maintenance from June 14 to July 7. This essential work helps us maintain the quality and safety of our aquatic facilities.
At the same time, we’re pleased to announce that the Robert Simpson Park Beach will officially open for the season on Thursday, June 26, just in time for the School’s Out Beach Party. Lifeguards will be on duty daily from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm through the end of August, weather permitting.

As the end of school approaches, it’s time to think about summer camps. Camp Wanna-Go is a summer day camp for children between the ages of 4 and 10 operating out of the Nick Smith Centre. Each week is packed with games and crafts to go along with the weekly theme. Themes include culinary weeks, sport weeks, adventures and more! Space is very limited so act fast to secure your spot today!
We are proud to announce the Counsellor in Training program for children aged 11-13 who are able to grow their confidence and leadership skills by shadowing a counsellor and helping with our camp crafts, and games.

P.A. Day Camp
Don’t miss our final P.A. Day Camp of the school year on Friday, June 6th at the Nick Smith Centre! The theme is Water Olympics, promising a fun-filled day of games and activities. Camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Spaces are limited, so be sure to register early!
Preschool Explorers
Join us this June for Preschool Explorers, running Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Nick Smith Centre Community Hall. This program helps prepare little ones for school through free play, social interaction, and structured activities—plus, it’s a great opportunity for caregivers to take a break or run errands! Beach: Robert Simpson Park Beach will officially open for the season on Thursday, June 26
Splash Pad: The splash pad at Robert Simpson Park is now open for the season! Stay tuned for updates on the opening of Arnprior's second splash pad at Fairview Park in the coming weeks. The new Fairview Park will open this month featuring the Town’s second splash pad, a parkour circuit, swing sets, preschool play structure and play berm. Follow our socials for more details on the opening of this exciting park space!
