Construction Notice - Rehabilitation of Daniel Street from Madawaska Street to Staye Court Drive

Construction Notice:

Please be advised that the County of Renfrew, in partnership with the Town of Arnprior, will be rehabilitating County Road 2 (Daniel Street) from County Road 1 (Madawaska Street) to Staye Court Drive starting May 30th, 2025 with an anticipated completion date of July 31st, 2025.

Work along Daniel Street will include asphalt resurfacing, curb and sidewalk repairs, pavement markings, installation of a new concrete median between Staye Court Drive and Baskin Drive, and installation of infrastructure to support a new pedestrian crossing at the Algonquin Trail.

Work will also be completed along William Street between John Street and Daniel Street including asphalt resurfacing, curb and sidewalk repairs and pavement markings.

Rehabilitation efforts will require the road to be limited to a single lane of traffic at times during the construction project. Traffic control persons will be used to direct traffic through the construction zone.
