Condolences from Mayor McGee and The Town of Arnprior Mayor Mark Willmer

It is with sadness that we hear of the passing of Mark Willmer, Mayor of Madawaska Valley. Mark had a long history with the Town of Arnprior as a former resident, employee and Councillor from 1989 to 2003 and 2006 to 2010.

Mark was a well-respected leader then and now and his commitment to the residents of both Arnprior and Madawaska Valley will be remembered with fondness. On behalf of Council, staff and the residents, I extend sincere condolences to his partner Janet, children and grandchildren.
