The Arnprior Fire Service is dedicated to increasing community safety by being committed to protect lives and property, as well as limiting negative effects to the environment and local economy through public education, prevention and emergency response within the scope of the approved services.
If you are interested in working with a dynamic team and like to help make a difference in supporting the community, we encourage you to attend a recruiting information session being hosted by the Town of Arnprior Fire Department to learn more about the Volunteer Firefighter opportunities becoming available soon.
This informative information session will provide individuals who have an interest in becoming a Volunteer Firefighter with key information about job related expectations, identify the role within the organization, and outline the recruitment process. After attending the session, interested candidates will have a better awareness of the participation requirements and the nature of the business providing an opportunity to consider the commitments before making a final decision if they wish to pursue the opportunity as a Volunteer Firefighter. It is encouraged to have partners participate in the information session as well so they will have a full understanding and appreciation of the level of commitment required by all firefighting staff.
This information session is a prerequisite to continue through the recruitment process, so we ask that you provide an RSVP to Carly Papousek, Human Resources Officer via email at hr@arnprior.ca by October 14th, 2024.
For information on the Volunteer Firefighter position including the minimum requirements, please review the Volunteer Firefighter Orientation Handbook.
