Due to the winter storm, the Town’s contractor has advised that they are not able to safely complete the Section 4 recycling collection. Therefore, today's Section 4 (Friday) recycling collection has been cancelled and rescheduled to Monday, December 19th, 2022. Affected residents should bring in their recycling bins today and instead place their Paper Fibres and Cardboard materials curbside by 7:30 AM on Monday. Recycling collection for all other sections next week will remain as scheduled.

Wipes, feminine hygiene products, masks, gloves, toys, dental floss, condoms, paper towels, food, cooking oils, and kitty litter do not belong in the toilet. Flushing these items clogs our pipes and pumps and it impacts our ability to effectively and environmentally process waste in our treatment facility. For the love of the environment, only poop, pee and toilet paper should be flushed down the toilet.
