Gillies Grove Nature Reserve Closed to the Public Until Further Notice

Ontario’s tallest tree is still standing but site is closed to visitors

Due to the destructive derecho (pronounced deh-RAY-cho) storm, the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s (NCC) Gillies Grove Nature Reserve in Arnprior is closed to the public until further notice.

Arnprior Celebrates 160th Birthday with return of Priorpalooza presented by Ontario Power Generation

The Town of Arnprior will celebrate its 160th birthday with the return of the annual music festival – Priorpalooza, presented by Ontario Power Generation – on Saturday, June 4.

 “Everyone is excited for the return of summer events. We are thrilled to be back to a full calendar this year” said Director of Recreation Graeme Ivory. “Priorpalooza is the official kick-off to summer in Arnprior. We’ll also be celebrating 160 years of this wonderful community.”
