While the Town’s Fireworks Bylaw permits consumer fireworks to be discharged within the Town of Arnprior, the day before Canada Day, Canada Day and the day after Canada Day, Fire Officials are discouraging residents from lighting consumer fireworks while the Town remains within the MNR Restricted Fire Zone. A fire ban has been issued by the MNR and is still in effect. A temporary suspension of all issued Burn Permits is in place for all residents and property owners of the Town of Arnprior.

Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) and the County of Renfrew Paramedic Service are alerting residents about an increase in overdoses across Renfrew County and District (RCD).
