To the residents and businesses of Arnprior:
I know everyone is excited to be in stage 3 of Ontario’s re-opening plan and eager to return to life as it was before COVID-19 but I want remind residents that the best protection against COVID-19 and associated variants of concern and the best way to ensure our businesses remain open, is to get vaccinated.
As mass immunization clinics are decreasing in number and frequency over the next month, Dr. Robert Cushman, Acting Medical Officer of Health, RCDHU, is urging residents to take advantage of COVID-19 vaccine appointments as soon as possible.
Renfrew County is holding its last Arnprior mass vaccine clinics every Thursday in August. Residents are being asked to book online at Renfrew County – COVID Vaccination Clinic Portal, as this is the fastest way. They are also holding pop-up clinics this week and schedules can be found here.
Many pharmacy’s in Arnprior are also offering COVID-19 vaccinations. Please visit their websites for more information and to book an appointment.
I remind you that links to other resources are available on the Town’s COVID-19 webpage or by calling or emailing staff, with contact information available on the Contact Us link of the Town’s website.
